Wolfpups is a DIY screen printing / clothing company based out of the Sunshine Coast in BC. Heather designs, and hand prints all of their garments using water-based inks, fair labour and 100% organic cotton; needless to say, we are big fans of both their overall perspective, and clothing! When she approached us about shooting her latest “Wild Child” design, we were into it right away. We love doing collaborations with like-minded artists, and we’re sure that there will be more to come!
Please support Heather and her local business by visiting her Etsy shop!
Enjoy!
Cassandra and Aaron were one of the first Vancouver Island couples to contact us, roughly seven months before we moved here – we can’t believe that it has been over a year already! We started things off at Island View Beach; stopped off briefly at a classic fishing pier, and concluded the shoot in a beautiful oak tree field at dusk. Luckily, the weather was amazing and we were able to capture the vibe we were going for: warm, sunny and romantic! A big thank you goes out to Cassandra and Aaron for being awesome, and we’re super excited for their wedding day!
Enjoy!
Wedding Couples (portrait client directions to follow):
This year we have started working with PASS, a program that stores your wedding photographs on “the cloud” for 10 years! This program allows our couples to access their photos quickly (you don’t need to wait until your disc arrives!), and share them with family and friends easily. We really love how accessible PASS is, and how beautifully the photographs are displayed!
You can also download a PASS app for your iPhone or iPad and take your images with you everywhere you go!
This is a step-by-step tutorial on how to log into PASS for the first time and an introduction to all of its amazing features.
When you receive the email from us telling you that your PASS gallery is available, you will be given a hyperlink to your PASS gallery. In order to download any of your images, you will need to create a log in using the email address you received the email at. To start this process, click on the button at the top left side of your PASS gallery – it looks like 3 lines. At the bottom of the drop down menu, you’ll see a button that says “Login” – click on that.
On the next screen, you will be asked to login using your existing login information. If this is your first time logging into PASS, simply click “Create Account”. Be sure to use the email address we sent your welcome email to, and create a password that you can easily remember. This login information will give you access to download your images.
Once you’ve logged into PASS, you’re ready to go! The gorgeous Pinterest-inspired gallery layout allows you to view your images as a collection. To view all images, click on the button at the top left side of the PASS gallery (the 3 lines) and refer to the “Collections” menu for options. When you click on a picture to enlarge it, a slider will pop up along the right hand side. From here you can add this photo to your “favourites”, share with Social Media, or download the single image. Once you have completed your favourite photo selections, you can directly share the collection to Facebook without having to download and re-upload the images. (So easy!) As the favourite images will be separated into their own folder, you can also choose to only show these images to family and friends, if you would like to keep the other photographs private.
*** Please be sure not to right-click and save your photos. This will save a much smaller version of your photograph – too small to have printed! Make sure to save your photographs from the slider, or the “download all” option!
You can download the PASS app to your iPad or phone – or you can open your gallery link in your web browser and double tap (iPhone only) to add your gallery as an icon right on your phone. So your photos are with you where ever you go!
PASS even enables you to order professional prints with the touch of a button from your computer, iPad or phone! PS – the print feature will be released later in Spring 2013 and is currently unavailable.
Feel free to share you URL with family and friends as well – your gallery also has the option to be password protected. Only VIPs have access to download images from the PASS gallery. Typically, that’s the couple, and some images will be available for the vendors involved. There are two ways to download your photos from PASS. You can choose to download all images with an option located under the left side menu (the 3 lines), or one by one via the slider on the right side.
I know it seems like a lot – but really, it’s so easy. And we love that your photographs will be protected for 10 years.
If you have any other questions about using your PASS account, please just let us know!
Family & portrait clients:
To keep our portrait rates competitive, we include a free 30 day PASS gallery for our portrait clients. With a free gallery, clients are able to download their images one by one, not as a whole (this is why we also send out a disc!)
Before your 30 day gallery expires, PASS will send you an email asking if you would like to “upgrade” your gallery – the choice is completely yours. If you upgrade, you will continue to have access to your gallery to share and download your images for one year, and your images will be stored on “the cloud” for 10 years.
The directions to use, and set up your PASS account are the same as listed above for our wedding clients!
We hope you enjoy using your PASS gallery!
